Renee Haers
Operations Manager/Dental Assistant
While dentistry was not a planned direction for Renee, it has become her second home. With over 20 years of experience, Renee can be seen in almost every area of the office. Her knowledge base extends beyond dentistry with a background in both Occupational Therapy and Massage Therapy. From assisting Dr. Mulkin to convincing sometimes cranky technology to work, Renee does it all. She has a love for continuing education and has travelled the country improving and expanding her skills in all areas of the office. If you have a question, it’s a good bet she has the answer. Outside of the office you will find Renee and her family “horsing around”. While her adult son, Riley, spends his time in Wyoming guiding horseback trips through Yellowstone; she, her husband, Owen, and daughter, Madison, are busy training and showing horses here. She is always excited to share her photos, just ask!
Rachel Jones
Dental Hygienist
Rachel was born and raised in Seneca Falls, NY. She Graduated from Monroe Community College in 2011 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and has been practicing ever since. Rachel joined Lake Country Dental in 2019; splitting her time between work, family, and fun. She likes spending her free time with her husband, Josh, and their two children, Lily and Max. Rachel also enjoys photography, traveling, boating in the summer, and skiing in winter. Her favorite part of her job is the people she gets to meet. Her goal is to make the overall “dental experience” as positive as possible with the hope of instilling a long relationship with her patients focused on dental health, compassion, and understanding (with many laughs along the way)!

Sara is a dedicated mom to a lively 10-year-old hockey player and has been happily married to her partner, Jordan, for 11 years. For over eight years, she was a familiar face at Parker’s Restaurant known for her amazing smile and bubbly attitude which she used to make guests feel welcomed. Now she is thrilled to embark on a new career in the dental field, bringing her passion for helping to others in this whole new environment. When she’s not cheering at the ice rink or diving into her new profession, Sara loves spending time with family and embracing new adventures.
Emma Smith

We are excited to welcome Emma back to Lake Country Dental. Emma first joined our team as an intern before pursuing her education in Dental Hygiene, and she couldn’t wait to return to our office and reconnect with our wonderful patients. Emma graduated from Monroe Community College with her RDH degree and is looking forward to seeing both familiar and new faces! Emma recently welcomed her first baby, Jace, into the world and has loved embracing her new role as a mom. In her free time, she enjoys being with family and friends, going on spontaneous adventures, and discovering new foods and places. Choosing a dental career was the perfect path for Emma as she is passionate about caring for her patient’s oral health and their overall well-being. Emma also loves that this field offers endless opportunities to learn and grow. Her goal is to bring bright, happy smiles to everyone she meets and cares for.
