Lake Country Dental

At Lake Country Dental, our goal is to look out for your dental health so that you can have a beautiful, healthy smile that makes a lasting memory. Dentist Lisa Mulkin, DDS, can help restore and improve your smile with cosmetic dental care.

Improve Your Smile

Cosmetic dentistry can be subtle to dramatic from teeth whitening to dental veneers and bonding. A beautiful smile is a healthy smile. At Lake Country Dental, we can give you a whiter, more attractive smile in as little as an hour with our chair-side teeth bleaching system. In addition, we offer a take-home teeth bleaching system for you to whiten your teeth in the convenience of your own home.

With dental veneers, you can leave a lasting impression with your new smile. Dental veneers can reshape and repair broken, chipped, spaced, crooked or discolored teeth. Veneers are strong and long lasting and can dramatically change the appearance of your teeth and the way you feel.

No matter how subtle or dramatic the change, cosmetic dentistry can make you feel great about your smile and yourself.

Dental veneers are perfectly shaped porcelain facings that are applied over the surface of your natural tooth. Dental veneers can align and shape teeth beautifully and give you a bright, white smile. Dental veneers are commonly used to cover worn tooth enamel, correct uneven tooth alignment, spacing issues, chips or cracks to give you the perfect smile you always wanted.

The results from teeth whitening vary from person to person. Most people see moderate to substantial improvement in the brightness and whiteness of their teeth that can take years off their smile. However, teeth whitening is not a permanent solution, like any other rejuvenating treatments, and requires maintenance or “touch-ups” for a lasting effect.

Much like dental veneers, dental bonding can be used to make small cosmetic changes or temporary corrections of cosmetic defects. Bonding is best suited for teeth with little bite pressure (especially front teeth). Dental bonding is tooth-colored resin that is applied to your tooth or teeth. A special light is then used to harden the material to the tooth. Bonded teeth, however, can be vulnerable to chipping and breaking more so than dental crowns or dental veneers.

Invisalign® takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created just for you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact course of treatment Dr. Mulkin plans out for you.
